Biometric selfie consent
Biometric Consent
Event Face Finder uses a guest selfie only to search one event gallery for possible photo matches. This MVP notice explains the consent posture before a guest starts selfie search.
This biometric consent notice is operational MVP copy pending counsel review. Final consent language, school/minor handling, and regional variants still require legal review.
Before selfie search
- The guest must see event-scoped consent copy before uploading a selfie.
- Selfie search is optional. A guest who does not consent cannot use biometric selfie matching for that event.
- The selfie is used to create a temporary search query for the selected event only.
What is not allowed
- Guest selfies are not stored by default and are not used to train models.
- The product is not for public surveillance, real-time public-space identification, emotion recognition, or untargeted scraping to build facial-recognition databases.
- School, minor-heavy, public-sector, or high-risk events require legal review before launch.
Event data and deletion
- Event face embeddings are treated as sensitive biometric data.
- Searchable event media and embeddings are deleted according to the event retention schedule unless a valid hold applies.
- Guests can submit removal, report, or deletion requests from the event guest pages.
