Biometric Consent

What you agree to

• You agree to processing your selfie and face representation to find possible matches in the selected event, without searching other organizers’ galleries.
• The selfie is sent to the face processing service and processed temporarily, without saving the image in event photo storage. Its query representation may be reused briefly in memory. Consent and search records are kept separately.
• Selfies and private event photos are not used to train models. Matches can be wrong or incomplete; check results before downloading or sharing.

Choosing and withdrawing consent

• You must actively accept the event consent statement. Refusing prevents biometric matching; gallery browsing remains available where the organizer enables it.
• Stop searching and withdraw consent through the event privacy form, the organizer or [email protected]. Withdrawal ends the use covered by that consent without invalidating earlier lawful processing.
• Stopping selfie search does not automatically remove photos containing you. Request removal separately so the affected photos can be reviewed.
• Only submit a selfie you are authorized to use. Organizers must arrange safeguards for children’s events; contact us before enabling face search in these situations.

Event responsibility and records

• The organizer is responsible for the legal grounds covering faces in uploaded photos. Event Face Finder processes the gallery on their behalf. Your selfie consent does not authorize other people’s biometric processing.
• Stored event face representations are treated as sensitive biometric data and removed through event deletion. Search records include the consent version, time and language to document consent.
