These terms apply to Event Face Finder accounts, event passes, add-ons and guest photo delivery. They explain your purchase, your responsibilities and how to request help or a refund.

Provider and agreement

  • Creating an organizer account requires acceptance of these terms. You must be an adult with authority to act for yourself or the organization you represent, provide accurate details and protect your credentials.
  • An event pass provides the photo capacity, delivery mode and hosting period shown before payment. Face search depends on the selected mode and successful processing. Passes are one-time purchases without automatic renewal; extra photo credits are purchased separately.

Orders, prices and payment

  • The pricing page and checkout show the selected pass or add-on, currency and applicable taxes. The final checkout total is the amount payable. Stripe processes payments using the methods offered at checkout.
  • Paid features become available after payment confirmation. Importing and preparing photos runs in the background; processing time depends on volume, source access and file quality. Review processing status before promising guests a delivery date.
  • The organizer sets download availability, resolution and any guest photo price, shown before purchase. Guest sales may involve the organizer’s connected Stripe account. Check the seller details and receipt; support can help identify the seller.
  • On each guest photo sale, Event Face Finder keeps a 15% commission on the amount paid by the guest, plus 1.5% + €0.25 to cover Stripe payment fees. The balance is transferred to the organizer’s connected Stripe account. The event dashboard shows this split before paid downloads are turned on.
  • Downloading a photo does not transfer copyright. Any additional licence must come from the rights holder.

Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

  • For event passes and add-ons sold by Event Face Finder, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days after purchase, even if setup or processing has begun. No reason is required.
  • Use the online withdrawal form, email [email protected] or write to our postal address. Identify yourself and the purchase with your account email, receipt or event reference. A clear statement that you withdraw is sufficient.
  • Eligible withdrawals are refunded within 14 days of receiving the request, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Cancellation ends the purchased entitlement; download any event photos you need beforehand.
  • After 14 days, contact support about duplicate charges, billing mistakes or a service we cannot supply. We will correct the issue or provide an appropriate full or partial refund for the affected purchase. Custom agreements may include additional refund terms.
  • For a guest photo purchase, contact the seller identified at checkout or on the receipt, or ask support for help. Mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal and digital service conformity rights, remain protected.

Photos and organizer responsibilities

  • You retain your rights in uploaded content and authorize us to store, process and deliver it to provide the service. You must have the necessary photo rights, permissions and authority for uploads and connected sources.
  • You choose gallery visibility, access codes, search mode, contributions and downloads. Review settings before sharing the link. A public gallery makes its permitted photos accessible to people with the link.
  • Inform attendees and establish the necessary legal grounds, including for biometric indexing of people in uploaded photos. A guest’s later selfie consent does not authorize processing of every other attendee’s face.
  • Review guest contributions, communicate with guests and handle rights requests that depend on your relationship with attendees. Keep your own important originals; the service is not permanent archival storage.

Permitted use

  • Use the service to deliver a specific event gallery and help guests find their own photos. Selfie matching requires separate, explicit consent and may return incorrect or incomplete results.
  • Do not use the service for surveillance, law-enforcement identification, employment screening, credit, housing or insurance decisions, emotion recognition or indiscriminate collection of facial recognition databases.
  • Do not upload unlawful, exploitative or unauthorized content, bypass access restrictions, share other people’s credentials or interfere with the service.
  • Contact us before face search for schools, events involving children, public-sector use or situations requiring additional safeguards. Custom imports, very large galleries and dedicated service commitments require an agreed scope.

Availability, retention and ending access

  • Use a supported modern browser and internet connection. Source permissions, corrupt files, interruptions and maintenance can delay delivery. We investigate reported faults; we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every photo will be found.
  • Standard passes include 60 days of hosting. Guest access ends on the displayed retention end date, followed by the deletion process. No paid retention extension is included unless separately agreed.
  • We may restrict access to stop unlawful use, protect the service or comply with law. Where appropriate, we explain the restriction and allow you to resolve it. Suspension does not remove mandatory refund or consumer rights.
  • These terms do not exclude liability or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support if a purchased service does not conform to the agreed features.
  • Material changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be communicated to affected customers. They do not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.

Complaints and applicable law

  • Send complaints to [email protected] with your purchase reference and requested outcome. French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law.
