To find your triathlon photos, search each stage separately. Your bib, clothing and visible face can change between the swim, bike and run. Start with the organizer's official gallery and use your splits to work out when you passed each camera point.
Build a timeline for the three stages
Write down your wave start, swim exit, transition exits and finish time. If your result lists elapsed times, convert them to approximate time of day using your actual start. A later wave can place you far from the photos suggested by the event's first start.
| Photo location | Useful clues |
|---|---|
| Swim exit | Cap, wetsuit, wave and exit time |
| Bike course | Helmet, bike, kit and course direction |
| Run course | Bib, top, lap and time of day |
| Finish | Finish clock, nearby participants and lane |
If clocks disagree, browse a wider interval rather than assuming the image is missing.
Account for changed kit and repeated laps
A wetsuit may hide the suit worn on the bike. A helmet and sunglasses may obscure your face. Note what you removed in each transition and whether the camera was before or after that change.
On a loop course, check which lap you were on. The same background can appear several times, and an early-lap photo may be filed far from your finish. Look at adjacent frames and nearby athletes when manual browsing is available.
Use face search where it can help
If the organizer uses Event Face Finder, open the correct event and search with a clear selfie. It looks for likely facial matches in that uploaded gallery, not across every triathlon on the web.
Finish and run photos may offer a more visible face than swim or helmeted bike frames. Face search cannot recover a face that is hidden or too small to identify usefully. Review the selfie search steps and keep stage-based browsing as a fallback where available.
Send a request the organizer can investigate
Include event, wave, bib, approximate time, stage, kit and lap. “Bike lap two, red helmet, around 10:40” narrows the search better than a name alone.
The race photo guide explains how to locate the official gallery. Once you find the image, check the available file quality before saving it.
